Matched Mix-Up Made Easy

After piecing my first drunkard’s path quilt I swore I would never make another—too much pinning!  Then I stumbled across a Curve Master Presser Foot demo at a sewing expo.  If I hadn’t tried it right there, I wouldn’t have believed it.  Wah-lah! Those curves eased together with NO pinning!  With a little practice I was off and running.  I made many of the quilts from A Quilter’s Mixology: Shaking Up Curved Piecing by Angela Pingel (2013), which inspired me to shake it up even more with my own patterns.

This pattern uses 7” finished blocks.  When you get tired of this pattern, switch it up.  Fun variations emerge when using different template sizes or block placements. A Quilter’s Mixology book has great ideas and includes patterns for many sizes of blocks.
