Beginning Quilting Part 1 -- with Cody
This class is intended for the total novice and/or for someone looking to hone their quilting skills. Our Instructor will start from the very beginning. You'll discuss the many tools from rotary cutters to thread, picking fabric, etc. When this class is over, you will have as many as nine blocks pieced to use in your quilt top. If you've always wanted to quilt, don't let this class pass you by. Classes will be held on the second Saturday of each month for three consecutive months.
During this class, the first three chapters of "You Can Quilt" (required for class) will be covered. You will learn the basics of cutting, sewing 1/4" seams, and pressing; half-square triangles and quarter square triangle blocks.
Please note: You must complete the questionnaire at the Shop prior to the first class.
