Beginning Quilting Pt. 1 -- Employee Instructor -- SOLD OUT
This class is intended for the total novice and/or for someone looking to hone their quilting skills. Our Instructor will start from the very beginning. You'll discuss the many tools from rotary cutters to thread, sewing an accurate scant quarter-inch seam, picking fabric, etc. When this class is over, you will have as many as nine blocks pieced to use in your quilt top. If you've always wanted to quilt, don't let this class pass you by. Classes will be held on the second Saturday of each month beginning in January and ending in March 2023.
In this class you will cover the first three chapters of "You Can Quilt" (required for class). You will learn the basics of cutting, sewing 1/4" seams, and pressing; half-square triangles and quarter square triangle blocks.
