Learn to Use the Sew Kind of Wonderful Quick Curve Rulers Session 1 - Class
Have you been admiring the Floral Felicity BOM or maybe seen some other amazing quilts with curves?? Or did you start the Santa last year and never finish?? Using any of the Sew Kind of Wonderful rulers (the Quick Curve, the Mini QCR, and the WonderCurve) you can easily finish your UFO or whatever pattern you choose to make with the information you'll take away from this class.
This first session will be a technique class. During this class, Dory will discuss how the rulers work and you will start cutting and sewing together some of your curved pieces. We will be going through all the steps: the cutting, both the rectangles/squares and the curved pieces, how to sew the curved pieces together, as well as proper pressing techniques. From there, you'll move on to squaring up the curved blocks and, if time allows, get started piecing all the required curved blocks for YOUR pattern choice.

| Requirements: | Working and familiar Sewing Machine Neutral Thread Quilting (1/4) foot Scissors Seam Ripper Small Rotating Cutting Mat (not necessary but helpful) 6-inch Square Ruler Bring to Class: Your Chosen Sew Kind of Wonderful Pattern* The SKW Ruler required for your Project This is an all-day class, so don't forget your lunch! *SKW patterns all have a "General Cutting Section," where you will be cutting squares and rectangles. Complete this cutting prior to class. |
