Be sure to bring any fabrics you'd like to include in your quilt so that various options can be analyzed for the perfect colorwashed effect. Bring your camera phone to take pictures of combinations and to help select fabrics. Examples will be presented in class. Second & Third Sessions: Fabric: You'll need nine (9) fabrics, plus your background. Fabrics should blend or "wash" across the surface. Fabrics #1 and #9 should be more open in design to blend better with the background. There are many options, you just need a combination of colors whose values go from light to dark to light again.
