Scrap Maze Quilt Class w/Carol
Do you like the idea of scrap quilts, but need some structure? Do you have scraps, and don’t know what to do with them? This class uses scrap squares in two colors, plus a background fabric, to make a striking quilt. You can pick solely from your scrap stash or use fat quarters to make your “scrap squares.”
The pattern is included in the class cost. Make this quilt as big or small as you like; size is based on the number of blocks you create.
Gather those scraps/fat quarters and we'll see you on the 24th!

| Requirements: | Fabric: Pick two main fabric colors plus a background. There should be high contrast between the background and the main colors. Use the table on the handout to select the fabric based on the size of quilt you wish to make. Basic Fabric Guidelines: The size of your quilt will be determined by the number of blocks you make. Smallest and largest options listed below: Table Runner - 51.5 x 21.5" Main Colors A & B - 1/2 yard each Background - 3/4 yard Border 1 - 1/4 yard Border 2 - 3/8 yard Backing - 1 1/2 yard Binding - 1/4 yard Queen Size - 98.5" Square Main Colors A & B - 2 1/2 yards each Background - 5 1/2 yards Border 1 - 1/2 yard Border 2 - 1 yard Backing - 6 yards Binding - 3/8 yard Notions: Sewing machine and instructions, in good working order, and instruction booklet Basic sewing supplies – scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc. Rotary cutter and mat 24” ruler Square-up ruler to trim 3 ½” squares Thread – neutral for piecing Quarter-Inch foot for your machine *Stripology Ruler (optional) - Featured Item - 15% Discount with Registration Don't forget your lunch or snacks and remember to bring a sweater as our classroom may be chilly |
