| Requirements: | Familiar and working Sewing Machine Thread (See Note on Handout) Rotary Cutter Scissors Pins Fabric: 1 yard each of FIVE various colors Batting: Twin Size or size appropriate for the quilt you plan to make Backing: 3-1/2 yards (more or less depending on the size of your quilt) NOTE: There is no binding on this quilt due to the rag edging Come to class with your fabric prepared and ready to sew: Main Color Fabrics: Cut 6-inch WOF strips from all yardage for the top Sub-cut each strip into 6-inch squares Backing Fabric: Cut 6-inch WOF strips from your backing Sub-cut each strip into 6-inch squares Batting: Cut 5-inch strips from your batting Sub-cut each strip into 5-inch squares Remember to bring snacks and a sweater! |
